You need to ensure that the registration of your website is up-to-date. The links which become older are shifted by the Link Pages to the end of the lists. This can be prevented by resubmitting regularly, preferably on a monthly basis. There is a tendency of the search engines to lose track of or to drop websites periodically. Monthly resubmission takes care of this scenario. Sections like “What’s New”, are also offered by a few sites and your site gets appended to the lists present over there on regular resubmission. Since search engines are always on the lookout for fresh submissions, it is better that you keep the content on your website regularly updated and provide fresh content. Then resubmission would ensure that you are always right there in the search engines’ radars. Now many automatic submitters are also present which prevent you from the hassles of manually resubmitting to each search engine.
